I bought Chapter 2, but it is locked
On the start screen, tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. The app then asks Apple which purchases belong to your Apple ID. A purchase applies to all save slots and to every device on which you are signed in with the same Apple ID.
How do I get my money back?
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by me: reportaproblem.apple.com. After a refund the chapter is locked again; your progress in it is kept in case you buy it again later.
Where are my saved games?
Only on your device, in up to four save slots. The app does not sync anything between devices. If you delete the app, the saved games are gone – a backup of your device via iCloud or your computer does contain them, though, like the data of any other app.
I can’t hear any music
There are three possible reasons:
- The music is switched off. You can toggle it under ⚙ (in the mission overview and on the save slot screen) or under ☰ during a mission.
- Your device is muted. ant fields follows the silent switch, like most games.
- Another app is playing music. In that case the game music stays silent so that it does not drown out yours. You still hear the sounds of the game.
I’m stuck in a mission
- The tutorial – the first chamber on the start screen – teaches all the basics in seven short lessons.
- In a tie, the defender always wins. Send more ants than there are in the target, or attack it from several nests one after the other.
- The workshop permanently improves your colony in exchange for crystals. Later missions assume that you have shopped there.
